Cheryl Fafel, 71, passed away peacefully on December 1, at 8:48 AM. She was the daughter of Gabriel and Anne Pollino; loving wife of Douglas Grossman for 22 years; beloved mother of Justin Fafel and his wife Tracy of Bridgewater and Tovah McBride and her husband James of Bridgewater; adored sister of Jerry Pollino, George Pollino and the late Ricky Pollino and Eddie Pollino; cherished grandmother of Arabelle, Brandon, James, Robert and Wyatt, and beloved aunt to many nieces and nephews. Loving stepmother to Brian and Aaron Grossman.
Cheryl was born in Boston, MA. She taught preschool at Cowlicks and Pigtails for many years and engaged personally with hundreds of children. Cheryl loved to travel and worked to fulfill her bucket list by going to Israel, Italy and many other places.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service at Stanetsky Memorial Chapels, 475 Washington Street, Canton, on Wednesday, December 3 at 10 AM. Interment will follow at Sharon Memorial Park, 40 Dedham Street, Sharon. Shiva will be at the Home of Justin and Tracy immediately following services and continuing Thursday and Friday from 1-7 PM.
