Cynthia Marie Katzman

KATZMAN, Cynthia of Stoughton, MA, age 58. Entered into rest at home on November 29, 2017, with her husband and daughter at her side. She was the beloved wife and best friend of John M. Bowlby for 36 years. Dear daughter of the late Dr. Sidney & Mary (Schulz) Katzman. She was the devoted mother of Sarah Marie Jallow and the late David Richard Bowlby and his partner Ashley, and the adoring grandmother of John Bowlby & Emily Bowlby. Loving sister of Michael S. Katzman & his wife Judith, and Patricia D. Katzman. Cynthia was raised in Michigan and moved to Massachusetts in 1981. She was an officer at Harvard University, where she was the first Network Manager of the Science Center in the 1980’s. She enjoyed many friendships with people from all over the world and made everyone she met feel loved and accepted. Friends are invited to visit the family beginning at 8:30am at the Stanetsky Memorial Chapel, 475 Washington Street, Canton, MA on Sunday, December 3, 2017. Funeral service begins at 10:00am. Burial will be private. Memorial observance will be held at the home of John and Cynthia on Sunday following services.
