David Brothers of Randolph, 98, passed away peacefully in his longtime home surrounded by his family on Wednesday, July 29, 2026. He was the devoted husband of the late Barbara (Goldberg) Brothers, who he affectionately referred to as “his bride” for 70 years.
Dave was the devoted son of the late Mary (Kvit) and Samuel Brothers, and brother of the late Beatrice Tanenbaum and the late Elaine Cohen. He was the loving father of Deb Klezmer, and husband Mark, and Pam Cohen. He is also survived by his cherished grandchildren Melissa, Mark, Shawn, Caitlin, Danielle, Jeff, Scott, Alex, Allie, Kevin, Stefanie and John as well as his most adored great-grandchildren Taylor, Drew, Joseph, Brooklyn, Donovan, Joshua, Matthew, Sophia, Jack, River, Lillian and Oliver.
Dave lived life to the fullest throughout his more than 98 years. He was a dedicated pharmacist, who enthusiastically worked well into his 80’s, a graduate of Northeastern University College of Pharmacy, and a proud World War II veteran.
He cherished spending time with his family and friends, playing cards, sharing his love of history, and making people laugh with his jokes—especially his beloved bride. He had a gift for bringing people together and genuinely enjoyed listening to others’ stories and life experiences. His warmth, humor, kindness, and the countless memories he created made him truly one of a kind. He will forever live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
