

KLAYMAN, Dorothy “Dodie” (Winkeller) a former longtime resident of Hull, MA passed away on December 14, 2017 surrounded by her loving family at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Boston, MA. Dodie was born on September 25, 1932, the youngest child of Nathan and Lillian (Goodman) Winkeller. She grew up on Browning Avenue in Dorchester, MA, graduating from Dorchester High School in 1950. She met her husband Myron Klayman soon after, and they were married in 1954. They celebrated 60 wonderful years together in 2014. Dodie attended Boston University, where she received a Bachelor’s Degree in Education in 1954. Following her graduation, she was an elementary school teacher in Hingham, MA. She worked summers alongside her husband, sisters, children and other family members at the much-loved Paragon Park in Nantasket Beach, MA for many years. She later became a licensed real estate broker and co-founded Sea Coast Homes, a residential real estate firm based in Hull. Dorothy was an active member of Temple Beth Sholom and a lifetime member of Hadassah. Dodie is survived by her loving family including son Neil Klayman and daughter-in-law, Adrienne Brenner, of California, son Barry Klayman and daughter-in-law, Elyse Mall of New York, and daughter, Lisa and son-in-law, Neil Aronson of Massachusetts. She was the cherished grandmother of Noah and Julia Klay¬man, and Jake and Benjamin Aronson. Dodie was predeceased by her husband Myron and her sisters Phyllis Stone and Sylvia Gelfand. Funeral services will be held at Stanetsky Memorial Chapel, 475 Washington Street, Canton, MA on Sunday, December 17, 2017 at 10:00AM, followed by interment at Sharon Memorial Park in Sharon, MA.
