Bloom, Eleanor (née Berig) of Canton, MA, formerly of Newton, died on December 4, 2016, at the age of 95. Beloved wife of the late Jack Bloom. A kind, dignified woman, she will be missed by family and friends. She leaves her daughter Jane Bloom of New York, NY; cousin Sterra Tackeff of Dedham, MA; niece Elinore Pinansky of Acton, MA; and companion Mary Kinnerk of Braintree, MA. A private memorial service was held. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory can be made to the Orchard Cove Scholarship Fund or The Trustees of Reservations.
