I worked for a number of years with Ellie at Foley Hoag and have warm memories of our friendship there. We were baymates and quickly found that we were "kindred spirits" in many ways. Ellie was a unique individual - very kind, very generous and very funny! I got quite attached to her and counted myself lucky to be included by she in Sarah in their circle of friends. May Dear Ellie rest in peace! She will be alive in my memories and I'm sure those of others for many years to come. My deepest sympathy to Sarah, her caring, wonderful sister. It will be hard to think of Ellie without Sarah or Sarah without Ellie. They were a wonderful team!

Ellie, you were an original and such an important part of our family. We might have gone naked if it was not for those bargains you found in Filene's Basement! Now I wonder who the lucky ones are to have you looking after them. You certainly are missed here. Love, Patti

All of my childhood memories have you in them, Ellie. From giving me baths, telling me stories, and buying all of my clothes from Filenes Basement, to laughing with you at the kitchen table and being showered with hugs and kisses. There was nothing you wouldn't do for me and I always felt your love. It was only fitting that the first 2 people to meet my son, even before my own parents, would be you and Sarah. That Sam should be showered with your unconditional love on the 2nd day of his life with us, was the most perfect beginning for my new family. I will miss you dearly but feel so lucky that you were a part of my life. I love you, Ellie. Love, Deb
