

Beloved son, grandson, brother, and uncle, Eliezer Yehuda Schectman (Ez), 19, of Sharon, Massachusetts passed away on June 2, 2026.
Eliezer touched the hearts of the many friends and family who had the privilege of knowing him with his creativity, kindness, his smile, and his sense of humor. He had an exceptionally gifted intellectual ability and was working towards a degree in engineering at the University of Maryland, College Park.
Eliezer’s memory will forever be cherished by his deeply devoted family and the many lives he touched. He is survived by his parents, Sarah Schectman and David Schectman, cherished as a son by Chris Beebe; and survived by his siblings Asher and Leah Schectman, Adina and Shmuel Tsvi Rosen, Shifra and Ari Luss, and Noam and Faigy Schectman. He also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews, his grandfather, Dr. Richard Schectman, and his grandmother, Linda Epstein.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Graveside Funeral Service on Thursday, June 4, 2026, at 1 PM at Independent Pride of Boston Cemetery, 776 Baker Street, W. Roxbury, MA.
Shiva will take place following the burial at his home in Sharon from 3-6 PM, Mincha/Ma’ariv at 8 PM; continuing on Friday, June 5th Shacharit at 8 AM, shiva from 10 AM-12 PM and 1-3 PM; and on Sunday, June 7th Shacharit at 8 AM, shiva from 10 AM-12 PM and 2-6 PM, Mincha/Ma’ariv at 8 PM; Monday, June 8th through Tuesday June 9th, Shacharit TBD, shiva 10 AM-12 PM and 2-6 PM, Mincha/Ma’ariv at 8 PM.
