WE REMEMBER HER

At the rising of the sun and at its going down, we remember her.

At the blowing of the wind and the chill of winter, we remember her.

At the opening of the buds and in the rebirth of spring, we remember her.

At the blueness of the skies and in the warmth of summer, we remember her.

At the rustling of the leaves and in the beauty of autumn, we remember her.

At the beginning of the year and when it ends, we remember her.

As long as we live, she too will live; for she is now a part of us, as we remember her.

When we are weary and in need of strength, we remember her.

When we are lost and sick at heart, we remember her.

When we have joy we crave to share, we remember her.

When we have decisions that are difficult to make, we remember her.

When we have achievements that are based on hers, we remember her.

As long as we live, she too will live; for she is now a part of us.

I just read about this and was so sorry to hear about Evelyn's passing. I grew up in the same neighborhood in Mattapan and were friends with the Heifetz family back in the 60's. Again, my sympathy goes out to the entire family,

Mark, my sincere condolences on the loss of your mother. Although I never had the privilege of meeting your mom, I am sure she was a wonderful woman. May you and your family take comfort
knowing that your mother is now resting in peace.

Mark,
I saw your mother's obituary today and memories of our childhood in Mattapan came flooding back. So sad for you today, but good to know you had her all these many years and that she lived to see many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
My thoughts are with you from across the years,
Roni (Bloom) Jordan
