He was the beloved husband of 62 years to Vivian (Virginia Shaer). He was pre-deceased by his parents Louis & Jenny Snyder and brother Max.
Father to Nancy (Snyder) Russell & her husband Richard, Susan Kagan & her fiancé Lew Nerish. He was the grandfather to his cherished grandchildren Lauren & Brett Russell; David & his wife Allie, Jeffrey & Amanda, and Ross Kagan; Katja & her husband Brett Osterfeld; and great granddaughter Makenna Osterfeld.
He will also be missed by many family and friends. His life ended too soon.
George was a US Navy Veteran of WWII and active at Temple Beth Abraham during his years in Canton.
A service will be held on Sunday, March 11, 2012, 2:00 P.M. at Stanetsky Memorial Chapel, 475 Washington St., CANTON followed by burial at Sharon Memorial Park.
Shiva at the home of Susan Kagan on Sunday from 6-8 PM, Monday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM.
