Hannah (Wingert) Silverstein of Boynton Beach, Florida passed away on Thursday, April 29, 2021 at the age of 78.
Hannah was born on June 1, 1942 in Lawrence, Massachusetts. At the tender age of 18, Hannah married the love of her life, Norman Silverstein. She was married to Norman for almost 61 years and together they raised their children Ronald, Robert, and Marcia in Sharon, Massachusetts. They enjoyed a second home in Mashpee, Massachusetts and then resided in Boynton Beach, Florida.
Hannah was actively involved with ORT and Aid for Cancer Research. She shined brightest when with her family, especially with her grandchildren, never missing a soccer game, dance recital, play, or Broadway show! Family and friends were her priority as she bowled, played tennis and golf, traveled the world, and enjoyed mahjong and canasta. Her beloved Norman was always by her side, her rock through adversity and partner in joy. Vibrant in all she did, Hannah will be remembered most for her beautiful smile.
Hannah was predeceased by her parents Melvin and Dorothy Wingert, her beloved son Robert Silverstein and her brother Joseph Wingert. She is survived by her husband Norman Silverstein, son Ronald and his wife Susan Silverstein and their two children Michael and Jessica; daughter Marcia and her husband William Reinstein and their three children, Danielle and her fiance Thomas Marra, Joshua and Samantha; her sister Ellen Turner and husband Bruce.
Public Graveside Burial will be at Sharon Memorial Park, 40 Dedham Street, Sharon, Massachusetts on Monday, May 3rd at 2:00 PM. A private funeral service will be attended by immediate family prior to burial. The 1:00 PM service will be livestreamed at: https://distantlink.com/StanetskyMemorial.html
Gathering after the burial will be at the home of Hannah’s niece Cindy Kimball and her husband Spencer Kimball. Shiva will be Monday night from 6:00 PM-8:00 PM.
