Harry Kushnir

KUSHNIR, Dr. Harry, 80, of New Seabury, MA and Boynton Beach FL, formerly of Framingham died Monday, October 16, 2017 at home after a courageous battle with cancer. The son of the late Anna and Samuel Kushnir of Newton, MA. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Janet (Garbelnick) Kushnir, daughter Lisa Linden and her husband Philip, son Michael Kushnir and his wife Paula, and daughter Marcy Loomis. He leaves six grandchildren, Andrew and Jamie Kushnir, Jessica and Matthew Linden, and Zachary and Jacob Loomis. Harry was a graduate of Boston Latin School, Harvard College (‘59), and Harvard School of Dental Medicine (‘63). He taught at Harvard Dental School prior to practicing dentistry for 50 years. He was an active member of Temple Beth Shalom, a lover of all Boston Sports teams, and an avid tennis player and golfer, but found his greatest pleasure spending time with family and friends. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 18, 2017 at 2pm at the Stanetsky Memorial Chapel, 475 Washington Street, Canton, MA. Interment will be at Sharon Memorial Park. The family will observe shiva at the home of Marcy Loomis following the service until 9pm, Thursday 2-4pm and 7-9pm, and Friday 2-4pm.
