Helene (Gorenstein) Schaefer of Tequesta, FL, passed away peacefully on February 7, 2025, at 87 years of age. Daughter of the late Bella (Rich) and Harry Gorenstein. Loving wife of Robert F. Schaefer of 52 years. Beloved mother of Jonathan B. Kates and his wife Danniel of California, and Peter A. Kates and his wife Ilze of Norway. Cherished grandmother of Ryan, Rebecca, Riley and Maxwell.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service on Friday, June 20, 2025, at 11 AM at Stanetsky Memorial Chapel, 475 Washington Street, Canton. The burial will follow at Sharon Memorial Park, 40 Dedham Street, Sharon.
