

He leaves behind his beloved wife of 61 years, Estelle (Rich), his devoted children Joseph Levy and his wife Cindy, Stewart Levy, and Carol Fishman and her husband David, his cherished grandchildren Allison, Jennifer and her fiancé Sam, Harrison, Jordan, Brian, Alex, Michael and Jacob. He also leaves behind his loving sister Adele Zimmerman, his dear nieces and nephews, cousins, friends and colleagues.
He was born to the late Evelyn (Spandorfer) and Irving Levy in New York City. He enlisted in the army at the age of 17 after graduation from high school and was a proud veteran of WWII. The majority of his career was spent as a manufacturer’s representative for Division Sales in Chicago. He was an active member of Temple Beth Abraham for 56 Years, a mason for 55 years and a member of the Housewares and Hardware Club.
The funeral will be held at Temple Beth Abraham, 1301 Washington Street, Canton on July 19th at 11:00 AM.
Interment will immediately follow at Beth El Cemetery, Baker Street, West Roxbury.
Shiva will immediately follow after the cemetery at the home of Joseph and Cindy Levy. Shiva will continue for the memorial week at the home of Joe and Cindy Levy with visiting hours on Wednesday and Thursday 1-4 and 7-9 PM; Friday 1-3 PM and Sunday 1-4 and 7-9 PM. Shiva will also be at the home of Carol and David Fishman on Sunday, July 24th from 7-9:30 PM.
