Ilene M. (Perlis) Horenstein, 87, of St. Louis, passed peacefully on December 1, 2025. Born in Boston, April 25, 1938 to Samuel and Sara (Finkelstein) Perlis. She was the beloved wife of the late Dr. Simon Horenstein; sister to Barry R. (Linda) Perlis; mother of Lawrence “Larry” Weiskirch (Deborah Tobin); stepmother of Joshua (Janet) Horenstein, Deborah Horenstein (late Keven J.) Prendergast and Jonathan (Cynthia) Horenstein; grandmother of Hannah and Benjamin. She very much enjoyed travel, fine arts, and the symphony.
A Graveside Service will be held Thursday, December 4 at 9:45 AM, at Sharon Memorial Park, 40 Dedham Street, Sharon. Please meet behind the Administration building.
