Irene Ruth Gunner of Framingham, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 5, 2024 at 92 years of age. Daughter of the late Edna (Toon) and Leon Yanow. Beloved wife of the late Bernard Gunner. Loving mother of Nancy Gunner of Kennebunk, ME; and Lori Royer and her husband Edward Royer of Stonington, CT. Cherished grandmother of Ben Royer and Julia Royer. Beloved aunt of many nieces and nephews.
Irene was born in Woonsocket, RI on May 4, 1932. She graduated from Jeremiah E. Burke High School in 1948 and BU School of Practical Arts and Letters in 1952. She worked as a bookkeeper for many years in Framingham, MA.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service on Monday, June 10, 2024 at 11 AM at Stanetsky Memorial Chapel, 475 Washington Street, Canton. Burial will follow at Sharon Memorial Park, 40 Dedham Street, Sharon.
