“Poppy” Ivan Barofsky of East Sandwich, MA passed away peacefully on December 21, 2025 at 90 years of age. Born in Brooklyn, NY to Theodore and Rose (Epstein) Barofsky. Ivan was the loving husband of the late Anna-Lisa (Kaplan) Barofsky for 22 years; beloved father and father-in-law of Jeremy Barofsky and Kate Finley; younger brother of Norman Barofsky; cherished grandfather of Ayla and Reid Barofsky and dear uncle of Beth Bucheister, Susan Kahn and Eric Barofsky.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service on Sunday, December 28 at 12 Noon at Cape Cod Synagogue, 145 Winter Street, Hyannis, MA. Shiva will be held immediately following interment at Ivan’s late residence.
