I just heard of Jeanne's passing. I went to High School with Jeanne. Jeanne would often visit my mom and sing for my mom during the  high school years and after graduation for a while. Eventhough, they were of different generations- I think they were kindred spirits.Oddly, my mom had passed away a week before Jeanne. I'd like to think of my mom listening to Jeanne sing in heaven. It's a comforting thought. My heart goes out to the Zaslaw family. Jane Blender Volinsky

Reading the Obituary and listening to Ellie talk about her sister - it is clear that she was a beautiful soul!

Our sympathy goes out to Jeanne's parents, sister's, and brother. She was David's cousin. I never had the pleasure of meeting her, but from what I heard today she was a true artist all around. Her words and music I heard today were wonderful. It was a pleasure to hear her singing music at the service. God bless, and may she rest in peace

Jeanne remains a bright light in our hearts and minds; A loving girl from a loving family. Peace.

My dear cousin Jean. My heart is filled with sorrow this day. It's amazing how one person can affect the life of another in so many ways and yet never know it. I've been thinking so much about you and the impact you've had on my life. My sweet Jean; If I could tell you now, I would want you to know how much you've meant to me. Without you,  I would not be able to pick up a guitar and play something. I would not have the same appreciation for music that I do today. I used to love learning from you, playing guitar with you, and singing songs with you. You were a good cousin, a great teacher, and a beautiful person. Now the harps of the angels in heaven will be your strings.

I have very fond memories of Jeanne when I would visit the Zaslaw house. She was so kind and always had a smile for me which I'll never forget. I hold a special place in my heart for her.

I will never forget Jeanne from our days in after school Art classes.  Her love of art was intense;each project a creative expression. I was always jealous of her talent. May her memory be a blessing.

Zaslaw Family -
I only met Jeanne a few times but will always remember her smile. She had her own special way of making you feel welcomed.  You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

Jeanie was in my Spanish class at Milton High.  I have never forgotten her.  She was so much fun and loved bringing her guitar to class to entertain us and play some flamenco.  I can only hope that her life was as positive and bright as her high school days.
