Jeff had a special love for our dog,  Arielle. The bond they shared brought him great joy, and for two consecutive years he proudly walked with Arielle in support of suicide prevention, reflecting his caring heart and his commitment to bringing hope and support to others.

Cream of Volunteer Soup
Primary Ingredient: Jeffrey Weinberg

It starts the way all good things do—
not with a recipe,
but with a person who shows up.
Jeffrey didn’t measure kindness
in cups or teaspoons.
He brought it by the ladle—
steady, warm, and never asking
who was hungry or why.
A volunteer, they’d say,
as if that word were small enough
to hold a life like his.
But he was more like the simmer—
constant, patient,
turning simple moments into something
that could feed a room.
Add laughter—
the kind that lingers
even after the chairs are stacked.
Stir in loyalty,
a pinch of stubborn hope,
and memories that refuse to fade.
And yes,
a little salt from the tears—
because the best soups
always carry a trace of sorrow,
reminding us
how deeply we tasted the joy.
There’s no replacing
an ingredient like Jeffrey Weinberg.
No substitute, no shortcut.

So sorry to hear about Jeffrey’s passing.
He was such a nice man and he always had the best stories to tell at bowling about his poker tournaments or golf.

Jeff was a good man who always brought a smile and enthusiasm wherever he went. He was a good and supportive friend who I will miss!

RIP my dear friend.  I will miss you dearly.  Thank you for all your support in my breast cancer battles and all the special memories we shared.  You were the biggest Red Sox Fan and they will miss you cheering them on.

Cousin Jeffrey was truly one of a kind. I don't remember a time where he wasn't smiling or hearing his contagious laugh. 

He was probably the Red Sox biggest fan. I like to think he's cheering from above. He will be greatly missed.

The Red Sox should retire your seat number.  At the games, or on the slopes - you were a force.  RIP, dude.

Cousin Jeffrey will be deeply missed. I have known Jeffrey my whole life. He had a way of lighting up a room with his jolly laugh that could make anyone smile. He truly enjoyed our Thanksgiving dinners over the years. I am grateful I had the chance to know what a kind and caring person he was.

I am saddened to learn of Jeff's passing. He was a member of the  Social Action/ Social Justice Committee I chair at B'nai Tikvah.  He was always ready to lend a hand whenever I needed help. But Jeff was also a friend. He was one of the kindest, most generous people I have ever known. He will be sorely missed, not only by me, but by everyone whose lives he touched.
