Dr. Joseph Stolkarts of Sharon, previously of Minsk, Belarus, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 1, 2026, at 96 years of age. Son of the late Manya Drapkina and Zelik Stolkarts. Loving husband of Lyodmila Grib of 62 years. Beloved father of Rachmeil Stolkarts and his wife Maya of Peduel, Israel; and Julia Gurfinkel and her husband Vladimir of Sharon. Cherished grandfather of Daniel, Jonathan, Nissan (Amit), Uval (Shahar), Itay, and Maayan. Great-grandfather of Shahar, Aviv, and Gefen. Brother of late Benitsian, Rachmeil Morduch, and Isaak.
Joseph spent almost 45 years as a neuro-anesthesiologist and researcher who cared deeply for his patients. He touched the lives of many with his warmth, curiosity, profound sense of humor, and empathetic heart. Joseph enjoyed dancing with his favorite partner, his wife Lyodmila, going to Israel, fishing, gardening and especially spending time with his beautiful family and friends. Joseph never lost interest in life and always learned new things.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Graveside Funeral Service on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, at 10:45 AM at Sharon Memorial Park, 40 Dedham Street, Sharon. Please follow signs to Graveside Service, which will lead you to the road in front of the administration building to line up for the burial.
