Joyce Hope Weinberg

Daughter of Solomon Fuchs and Jean Frischman, both of Hungary. Beloved Mother of Michael Weinberg and his husband, Luis Medeiros; Bruce Weinberg and his wife, Amy Ebersole; Shelley Weinberg; and Scott Weinberg. Cherished grandmother of Benjamin Weinberg, Samuel Weinberg, and Kate Weinberg. Sister of Susan Fuchs.

Joyce was born in Boston, MA. She was an accomplished pianist and enjoyed her career as a piano teacher as well as mother and homemaker. She was renowned as a poet in her Golda Meir community for over twenty years, submitting a poem per month for the monthly newsletter, leaving behind a treasure trove of poems that all residents enjoyed tremendously. She also was a regular performer of the Golda Melodiers, including several solo performances throughout the years. She treasured her family and many friends, encouraging everyone to be positive and to always be their unique best in life.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral service on Sunday, August 11, 2024 at 1:30 PM at Stanetsky Memorial Chapel, 475 Washington Street, Canton, MA followed by burial at Sharon Memorial Park, 40 Dedham Street, Sharon, MA. Shiva will be at the home of Michael and Luis following the burial.
