Laurence E. Wexler

WEXLER, Laurence E. “Larry”, of Sharon and Martha’s Vineyard, MA. Passed away on January 25, 2018 at the age of 79. Beloved husband of Paulette (Kempner) Wexler. Adored father of Marc Wexler, Craig Wexler and his wife Mala Briceno, and Brooke Friedrich and her husband Dr. Andrew Friedrich. Loving brother of Rona Gothelf. Cherished grandfather of Carter Wexler and Garrett, Ryan and Kyle Friedrich. Larry grew up in Long Beach, NY. He graduated with a Masters of Business from the University of Michigan, ultimately working at Fidelity Investments. His greatest pleasures were spending time with family, socializing with good friends, swimming, listening to good music, and indulging in good food. He was deeply involved in organizations related to special needs. Larry will be remembered for his quick wit, sense of humor and his love of people. Funeral services will be at held at Stanetsky Memorial Chapel, 475 Washington Street, Canton, MA on Sunday, January 28, 2018 at 1pm, followed by burial at Sharon Memorial Park, Sharon. Memorial observance will be at his late residence on Sunday until 9pm with minyan at 7:45pm, continuing Monday and Tuesday from 1-3pm and 7-9pm with minyan at 7:45pm.
