Lenore (Harris) (Goldman) McCrensky of Framingham passed away on Saturday, October 11, 2025, at the age of 97, surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of the late Leonard McCrensky and Walter Goldman. Devoted mother of son, Paul Goldman and his wife Patrice of Wellesley, daughter, Cara Mirabal of Ashland, and the late Jerald Goldman and his wife Terry of Nokomis, Florida. Cherished grandmother of Alisha Clemente and her husband, Mark of Shrewsbury.
Lenore was born in Brooklyn, NY in 1928 to the late Nathan and Fay (Leiberman) Harris. She grew up in the Flatbush section of Brooklyn with a younger sister, Bobbie (Harris) Nadel, who predeceased her. Lenore moved to Boston after she married Walter Goldman, eventually moving to Framingham to raise her children. While living in Framingham, Lenore enjoyed socializing with her friends and neighbors. She loved to travel and especially enjoyed a trip to England, as well as many trips to the Catskills, Florida and quite a few Caribbean cruises.
Always a fashionista, Lenore had her own sense of style. She worked in retail for many years, first at Filene’s and then Macy’s where she could be found behind the fine jewelry counter. Macy’s always remained one of her favorite places to shop and she greatly enjoyed visiting there with her daughter, Cara.
Lenore was a dedicated grandmother to her only granddaughter, Alisha. She was a constant presence during Alisha’s childhood and she liked to reminisce about the many fun times they spent together. Lenore always dreamed about attending Alisha’s wedding and that dream came true this past August. Lenore attended dressed beautifully in a lavender chiffon ensemble, her favorite color.
Her family treasures memories of all the good times they shared together.
A funeral service will be held at Stanetsky Memorial Chapel, 475 Washington Street, Canton on Friday, October 17, 2025 at 10 AM. Burial to follow at Sharon Memorial Park, Sharon. After the burial, all are invited to attend Shiva at Paul and Patrice Goldman’s residence.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in Lenore’s memory to The Brooklyn Public Library at www.bklynlibrary.org
