Lorraine S. Ring

Lorraine S. (Noonan) Ring, formerly of Hyde Park, passed away peacefully on September 11, 2026 at the age of 98. She was surrounded by her loving family.

Lorraine lived a long, beautiful, and meaningful life centered around the people she loved most. Family was her greatest joy, and she took particular pride in her grandchildren, with whom she shared a very special and enduring bond. Affectionately known as “Nonnie,” she was a cherished presence in their lives and created countless memories that will remain treasured by her family for generations to come.

Lorraine was the beloved wife of the late Albert J. Ring and the devoted mother of Laurene White and her husband, Jeff; David Ring and his wife, Diane; Wayne Ring and his wife, Ellen; Linda Goldstein and her husband, Barry; Debra Lafond and her husband, Michael Vermette; and Dayna Murphy and her husband, Thomas.

She was the cherished grandmother of Adam Benatuil and his wife, Chrissie, the late Jarod Benatuil, Kayla Ring, Brittany Ring, Melissa Ring, Nichole Ring, Meghan Ring, and Justin Ring.

She was the loving great-grandmother of Maddison, Haley, and Noah Benatuil, and Isabelle Quelis.

Lorraine will be remembered for her unwavering devotion to her family, the love she so freely gave, and the special place she held in the hearts of those who knew her. Her legacy lives on through her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and the many lives she touched throughout her 98 years.

She will be deeply missed and forever loved.

Services will be held at Stanetsky Memorial Chapel, 475 Washington Street, Canton, MA on Thursday, September 17, 2026 at 10:00 AM. Interment to follow at Sharon Memorial Park.
