Martin M. Franklin of Canton, formerly of Stoughton, passed away at home on Tuesday, March 11, 2025, at 90 years of age. Son of the late Edith (Sharfman) and Solomon Franklin. Loving husband of Marilyn (Kisner) of 69 years. Beloved father of Sherryl Radbil and her husband Uri of Stoughton, Michael and his wife Janice of Chicago; and David and his wife Jodi of Natick. Cherished grandfather of 8 and great-grandfather of 7. He was predeceased by his sister Constance Garmil.
Martin was born in Boston on October 18, 1934, and grew up in Revere. After graduating from Boston University, he served in the US Army. During his career he founded an employment agency in Boston that was in business for 33 years. After, he founded a vending supply company for another 20 years of success. Marty was dedicated to his family and friends, his synagogue and Boston sports teams.
The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, March 14, 2025, at 1 PM at Stanetsky Memorial Chapel, 475 Washington Street, Canton. Burial will follow at Sharon Memorial Park, 40 Dedham Street, Sharon. The service will be livestreamed at https://client.tribucast.com/tcid/c25032554339153
Shiva will be held at Brightview in Canton, in the third floor function room, following the burial, March 14th, from 3 PM-5:30 PM, and continuing on Saturday, March 15th from 6 PM-8:30 PM.
