

Martin Lipman of Stoughton, passed away peacefully on January 1, 2026, at 84 years of age. Son of the late Joseph and Evelyn Lipman. Loving husband of the late Joanne Lipman of 49 years before her passing. Beloved father of Elise Steever and her husband Scott of Somerset and Aimee Parcewski and Michael of North Carolina. Cherished grandfather of Jennifer, Kristen, Cameron, Ella and Ben. Brother of Lois Lipman of Stoughton.
Martin was born in Brookline. A devoted husband, father and grandfather. His family was the center of his life. He shared a loving marriage with his late wife Joanne, and together they built a family that brought him immense pride and joy. Marty looked forward to his yearly trips to Aruba, a place he cherished and returned to often. He loved Football Sundays, cheering on his favorite teams, usually with a gin and tonic close by. He also treasured visits to North Carolina where spending time with family created some of the most meaningful memories. He enjoyed daily walks, time at the beach and sudoku puzzles. He enjoyed spending time with his grand dogs, Buster and Waffles.
Marty will be remembered for his kindness, generosity and deep love for his family, especially his children and grandchildren who were the light of his life. His legacy lives on through them and the countless memories they will hold forever.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service on Monday, January 5, 2026, at 10 AM at Stanetsky Memorial Chapel, 475 Washington Street, Canton. Burial will follow at Sharon Memorial Park, 40 Dedham Street, Sharon.
