Mildred Rosalind Herman

Mildred (Malka Raizel) was born at home on November 11th 1918 in the Lower East Side of NYC. Upon graduating high-school, Mildred worked in a podiatrist office before marrying Paul Herman. Mildred and Paul raised their three children in Newark, NJ. After Paul died in 1981 Mildred lived in Roselle Park, New Jersey, in Rockville, Maryland, in Boston, and in Sharon, MA. Mildred was active in Hadassah.

Beloved wife of the late Paul Herman. Devoted mother of Arlene Kushner of Jerusalem Israel, Loretta Tanenbaum (Roy) of Toronto, Canada, and Eugene Herman (Mary) of Silver Spring Maryland. Loving sister of Frances Amsterdam of New Jersey. Cherished grandmother of ten grandchildren and twenty-nine great grandchildren.

Services at Stanetsky Memorial Chapels, 475 Washington Street, Canton, MA on Thursday, May 15, 2014 at 10:00 AM.

Interment at Sharon Memorial Park.

Shiva will be held at the home of Rabbi Miriam and Jeffrey Spitzer following the interment through Sunday and continuing in Toronto.
