

Peter Lurie of Sharon, MA, born November 28, 1969, passed away peacefully on July 28, 2026, surrounded by his adoring family.
Peter was the beloved husband of Kimberly (Wittenberg) Lurie, his wife of 32 years. He is survived by his parents, Ann (Green) and Robert Lurie of Boynton Beach, FL, formerly of Needham, MA; his brother, Neal Lurie and Carie Lemack, of Boulder, CO; and his mother-in-law, Diane Wittenberg, of Sharon. He is also survived by his children, Emma and Alex, of whom he was endlessly proud. Peter was also uncle to Matt, Kayla, Dan, Maya, and Joe, and was loved by a wide circle of chosen family, friends, cousins, aunts, and uncles.
Peter loved technology and helping people be more productive with it. Peter’s leadership, mentoring, and ability to reshape how others think about learning, value, and security left a lasting mark on his peers and teams.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service on Thursday, July 30th at 1 PM at Stanetsky Memorial Chapel, 475 Washington Street, Canton. Burial will follow at Sharon Memorial Park, 40 Dedham Street, Sharon.
Shiva will be held at the home of Diane Wittenberg:
• Thursday (following interment): until 5:00 PM
• Friday: 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM
• Sunday: 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM
