Rena (Cheskelovitz) Leafer

Rena (Cheskelovitz) Leafer of Sharon, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 22, 2025, at 90 years of age. Daughter of the late Sarah (Kelman) and Hyman Cheskelovitz. Loving wife of Norman Leafer of 68 years. Beloved mother of Michael Leafer and his wife Marla of Sharon, Scott Leafer and his wife Michelle of Norton, and Lori Meade and her husband David of Dracut. Cherished grandmother of Ashley and her husband David, Alex and his fiancé Kendall, Daniel and his fiancé Kayleigh, and Joshua. Great-grandmother of Sebastian and Mackenzie. Sister of the late Rose Beggelman, Celia Cohen and Esther Goldman.

Rena was born in Chelsea, MA on August 29, 1934. She was the youngest of 4 girls. Rena grew up in Chelsea and attended Boston University. She met Norman through a blind date in 1955. Rena worked at New England Telephone & Telegraph Co. as an executive secretary before she became a homemaker. Rena then raised her 3 children: Michael, Scott, and Lori. Rena was a loving wife and loved her family very much. She will be greatly missed.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service on Monday, August 25, 2025, at 10 AM at Stanetsky Memorial Chapel, 475 Washington Street, Canton. Burial will follow at Sharon Memorial Park, 40 Dedham Street, Sharon.
