Rhoda Marks

MARKS, Rhoda Sybil of East Dennis, formerly of Wellesley. Entered into rest September 29, 2012 at the age of 76. Beloved wife and best friend of Tanny Marks for 51 years, deceased. Caring daughter of Libby Hurvitz of FL. Devoted mother of David Marks and his wife Jeanne of NY, and Howard Marks and his wife Kari of MD. Cherished grandmother of Samantha, Matthew, Skylar, Griffin, and Elizabeth. Rhoda's understated elegance and introspective personality will continue on with those who knew her. Her family would like to thank, for their wonderful care and support, the staff at Pleasant Bay Nursing Home, and Hope Hospice of Cape Cod. They would also like to express sincere gratitude to all of her many loving and caring friends, during Rhoda's brave fight -- mere words do not do justice to their heart-felt appreciation for the care that Rhoda's friends showed her toward the end of her illness. Services will be held at Stanetsky Memorial Chapel, 475 Washington St, CANTON, MA, Sunday (today), September 30th at 12 pm. Interment at Sharon Memorial Park. The family will be at her late residence to receive relatives and friends on Sunday from 7:00 - 9:00 pm, and on Monday, from 11:00 am - 6:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in her memory may be made to Hope Hospice of Cape Cod, 765 Attucks Lane, Hyannis MA 02601
