Sally Hamburger

Sally (Barry) Hamburger of Canton, MA. Entered into rest December 28, 2018 at the age of 90. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph M. Hamburger.

Sally was born in Milton, MA, the dear daughter of the late Abraham and Bertha (Marionberg) Barry and the loving sister of the late Francis, Joseph and Nathan Barry and Gloria Braverman.

Sally was the devoted mother of Betsy Hamburger-Cohen and her husband Dr. Eric Cohen, David Hamburger, and Nancy Starr and her husband Dr. Steven Starr. Cherished grandmother of Dr. Michael Cohen and his wife Lauren Elizabeth, Joshua Cohen, Zachary Starr and Alex Starr, and great-grandmother of Henry Thibodeaux McCollum Cohen “Beau” and his brother James Wellington Palmer Cohen “Wells”.

Funeral services will be held at Stanetsky Memorial Chapel, 475 Washington Street, Canton, MA on Sunday, December 30th at 10AM, followed by burial at Sharon Memorial Park, Sharon, MA.

Family and friends are invited to a celebration of her life at the Blue Hill Country Club, 23 Pecunit Street, Canton, MA on Sunday following the burial.
