Sandra Elaine Miller

Sandra (Sandy) Elaine Miller of Randolph, MA, passed away peacefully on August 30, 2026, after a short illness at the age of 91 years old.

Daughter of the late Robert Kipnes and Clara (Sohn) Kipnes and loving wife of the late Benjamin H. Miller for 62 years, she treasured her family. She was the beloved mother of Nancy S. Lord (and Jeffrey) of Sharon, MA; Stacey J. Miller of Randolph, MA; and the late Bonnie L. Seigal of Framingham, MA. She was also the cherished grandmother of Amy (and Anthony) Capobianchi, Scott (and Jackie) Seigal, Jessica (and Peter) Schulte, and Alyssa Lord. She was the great-grandmother of Marcus, Lilliana, Roland, and Liam. Sandy was the sister of the late Rowena Wasserman, cousin of the late Jerry Gillis, and best friend of the late Carol Bell.

Born in Everett, MA on April 30, 1935, Sandy cherished her memories of growing up in Chelsea, MA, and especially the joyous family time she spent with her aunts, uncles, cousins, grandparents, and great-grandparents. She loved the time she spent with her friends at the Fireman Community lunches in Randolph, MA and valued being a part of the Temple Beth Am of Randolph, MA congregation. She called giving birth to her three precious daughters her greatest achievement.

A retired certified daycare center teacher and childcare provider, Sandy was the author of a memoir called Lots of Love: The Life and Times of Sandra E. Miller which she wrote and published in 2022.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a graveside funeral service at 10:45 AM on Wednesday, September 2, 2026 at Sharon Memorial Park, 40 Dedham Street, Sharon. Please follow signs to Graveside Service which will lead you to the back of the administration building to line up for the burial.

Shiva will be held at the home of Nancy and Jeffrey Lord following the graveside service.
