Selma J. Bengis

Beloved wife of the late Milton Bengis. Loving mother of Carol Bengis Goldman and son-in-law Barry and the late Nancy Bengis Friedman. Cherished sister of Ruth Prolman. Adored grandmother of Sarah Goldman, Jed Friedman and Seth Friedman. Dear aunt of many nieces and nephews.

Selma was much admired for her work at the Sharon Town Hall when first married, as a successful real estate agent, mediator and college student later in life at Simmons College. She was extraordinary not only for her accomplishments, sharp intellect and beauty, but foremost for her warmth, wisdom, and caring for her family.

Services will be held at the Stanetsky Memorial Chapel, 475 Washington Street, Canton on Wednesday, March 11th at 12 Noon. Burial to follow at Sharon Memorial Park.

Memorial observance will be at the home of Carol and Barry Goldman on Wednesday, 7-9pm, and Thursday, 2-4pm and 7-9pm.
