Son of the late Esther (Hazinovitch) and Moshe Feldman. Loving husband of the late Joanne S. (Broitman) Feldman for 68 years before her passing on March 10, 2022. Beloved father of Steven A. Feldman and his wife Lisa from Framingham and the late Julie Ann Feldman. Cherished grandfather of Zachary and Rachael Feldman. Brother of the late Valvele, Hana, Itzak, Bracha, Mordechai, Tova and Meir.
Shimon was born in Haifa, Israel on October 23, 1927, and grew up in Tel Aviv. Shimon was one of the first group of volunteers into the Israeli Air Force and was in the first group that joined the Israeli airline, El Al in his early 20’s. His love for his homeland never wavered. Shim was a very well-known mechanic and service station owner in West Roxbury from the 60’s through the 90’s.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service on Tuesday, October 3, 2023 at 1 PM at Stanetsky Memorial Chapel, 475 Washington Street, Canton. Burial will follow at Sharon Memorial Park, 40 Dedham Street, Sharon.
Shiva will be held Tuesday evening at the home of Steven and Lisa from 4 pm until 8:30 pm.
