Shirley A. Katz

The beloved wife of the late Arthur Katz, she was the devoted mother of Susan Katz and Judith and her husband Peter Myerson, and the cherished grandmother of Michelle and her husband Bob Kochen and great-grandmother of Alex and Nikaila Kochen. She was also step-grandmother of Tracy Myerson, Lory Myerson and her husband Rob Bender and their children Lily and Zach. Loving sister of the late Bernie and Joe Pearlman, she is also survived by her brothers Morty and Willie Pearlman. She was a loving aunt, great-aunt, and great-great-aunt to many nieces and nephews.

After moving to Florida in 1985, she became very active in her local Hadassah chapter for many years and held several offices including president. She was passionate about her family, enjoyed dancing, reading, travel and taking courses at the local college, and she loved all types of music and sang in the chorus at Hebrew Rehabilitation Center.

Services will be at the Stanetsky Memorial Chapel, 475 Washington Street, Canton on Monday, February 16th at 12:00 Noon. Interment at Sharon Memorial Park, Sharon.
