It is with great sorrow that the family of Stanley “Stan” Kottock of Arlington, Virginia, shares the news of his passing. He passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 23, 2025, at the age of 89. He lived most of his life in Virgina, with close family in Massachusetts. He leaves a sister, Elaine Smith of Newton, nieces and nephews, Carolyn and Kurt Levitan of Needham, Susan Smith and the late Alan Smith of Boston, and four great-nieces. He also leaves many good friends in the Virginia area. Stanley was an independent person who loved to travel. Upon entering his home, one would see artifacts from all over the world. Stanley always said he was so lucky to live the life he led. Stanley will be deeply missed.
A Graveside Service for Stanley will take place at 10:45 am on Monday, August 4th, at Sharon Memorial Park, 40 Dedham Street, Sharon, MA.
Shiva will be held following the service at the Levitan residence, until 4:00pm.
