Stephen S. Schultz

Stephen S. Schultz of Narragansett, Rhode Island, passed away peacefully on August 27, 2026, at the age of 80. He was born in Boston, Massachusetts, on March 28, 1946, and, prior to moving to Narragansett, resided in Sharon and Boston, Massachusetts.

Steve was the loving husband of Ronni Schultz, with whom he shared 57 wonderful years of marriage. He was the beloved father of Derek and Lori Schultz of Southborough, MA, and David and Theresa Schultz of Natick, MA. He was the cherished grandfather of Samantha,Dani, Kylie, Brooke, Fifi, and Livy.

Steve left an indelible mark on everyone he met. Always ready with a witty one-liner, he was often the first to grab the check, as he loved nothing more than treating his family and friends to dinner. When Steve walked into a restaurant, it was reminiscent of the show Cheers as everyone knew his name.

His personality was big, but his heart was even bigger. Steve was known as one of the kindest and most generous people in the area. Family was everything to him, and he was fiercely loyal and protective of those he loved. He treasured his friends and family deeply, and if you were Steve’s friend, you quickly became part of his family.

Steve’s generosity, humor, loyalty, and larger-than-life spirit will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing and loving him. His memory will live on in the countless lives he touched and, most especially, in the family he cherished above all else.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend graveside services at Sharon Memorial Park, 40 Dedham Street, Sharon, MA on Tuesday, September 1, 2026, at 12:45 PM. Please follow signs to Graveside Service which will lead you to the back of the administration building to line up for the burial.

A celebration of Steve’s life will be held immediately following the funeral services at Blue Hill Country Club, 23 Pecunit Street, Canton, MA.
