Stuart Leibovitz, of Foxboro, MA and Boynton Beach, FL, formerly of Canton, MA, passed away surrounded by his family on Friday, May 2, 2025.
He is survived by his devoted, adoring wife of 34 years, Linda Leibovitz, and his loving children, Evan (Jamie Tran) and Rachel Leibovitz. Stuart was the cherished son of the late Sally and Leo Leibovitz. He is also survived by his sister Debi Leibovitz (Fred Shafferman), brother-in-law Scott Kaplan (Jen Davis), sister-in-law Randi Chernack (Stu Chernack), and beloved nephews David Beckerman (Lauren Beckerman) and Andy and Danny Kaplan.
Stuart, known as Stu to many, will be deeply missed by his extended family and countless close friends whose lives he touched with warmth, wit, and kindness.
Funeral services will be held at Stanetsky Memorial Chapel, 475 Washington Street, Canton on Tuesday, May 6 at 10 AM. Interment will follow at Sharon Memorial Park, 40 Dedham Street, Sharon.
Shiva will be observed at the Leibovitz residence immediately following the burial until 9 PM and continuing Wednesday from 3 to 7 PM.
