Tyler Norris Frank

Tyler Norris Frank, 34, of Westborough, MA, passed away unexpectedly on August 16, 2026.

He was the beloved son of Hilary Norris and Robert Frank (Cheryl), devoted brother of Alex Frank (Danielle), treasured nephew of Larry Frank, Susan Pietro (Denny), Kim Norris, Amy Norris Wenzel (Tom), cherished cousin of Tina Albrecht, Brian Pietro, and Audrey Wenzel, and adored uncle of Elden Frank.

Tyler grew up in Westborough, where he made lifelong friends. As a youth, Tyler enjoyed camping, soccer, and baseball. However, once he picked up skateboarding, it quickly became one of his passions.

At the age of 21, Tyler moved to California, where he lived for several years in both Los Angeles and San Diego, making many more friends and creating his artwork on the beach and wherever he could. Tyler then moved to New York City, the city of his dreams, where he lived the remainder of his life.

A free spirit since he was young, Tyler lived his life on his own terms. He was an entrepreneur, never wanting to work for anyone else, and he built and ran a successful business. He also enjoyed traveling, visiting 26 countries in the course of three years. Tyler loved adventure, experiencing different cultures, and learning about the world.

Tyler had a way of making everyone he cared about feel loved and valued and made time with family and friends a priority. It’s safe to say most of us haven’t met anyone like Tyler. He was gifted in making connections wherever he went, and he could talk to anybody. And while so much could be said of his personality, kindness and compassion were at his core, and he helped friends and others through difficult times.

In his free time, Tyler volunteered teaching children to read and express themselves through art, and he provided help and provisions for unhoused people.

Tyler was also spiritual and believed in God since he was a child. While he will be sorely missed and is gone far too soon, we are so grateful for the time we had with him and the love we shared. Tyler lit up a room with his contagious smile and energy. He was always striving to do more and had goals and dreams to achieve. He was a bright light within our family and among his friends. We will all miss him forever and always.

A service for Tyler will be held on Sunday, August 30, 2026 at 1 PM, at Congregation B’nai Shalom, 117 E. Main Street, Westborough, MA 01581.
