Alice Blanche Flanary

Alice was born in Kensington, Ohio in 1928. She is now with her Lord and Savior Jesus, and reunited with her father, mother, and son.

Alice was a loving, giving, caring, and compassionate wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She always put others before herself. She was an interior decorator and furniture salesman for nearly 50 years, starting at Cheton’s and The Fabulous Maddox Furniture and many others. Alice loved her house and lived there until her passing. She made her house a showcase having people ask to use for wedding photos, especially around her gazebo. Alice loved gardening and planting hundreds of flowers annually along with her many fountains and accessories. Alice decorated for every holiday until the very end.

Alice is preceded in death by her husband, Donald Rae Flanary, father, Howard Engle, mother, Ella Josephine (Conner) Engle, son, Lawrence Donaldson, six brothers, and one sister.

She is survived by her sons, Fred (Marsha) Donaldson in Palm Springs, CA, and Bill (Chris) Donaldson in Louisville, OH, stepdaughter, Donna Rae Flanary in Brimfield, OH, several grandkids, and great grandkids, all who she adored.
