

Al graduated from Shaw High School in Cleveland, OH in 1957 and Miami University in 1962. His career began as a CPA at the accounting firm of Ernest & Whinney where he became the youngest partner in 1977. After 18 years, he left E&W to start, what would ultimately become his pride & joy: Power Resources Operating Company, serving as CPA, President, and CEO. Over the next 41 years, Al was the developer, partner, and owner/operator of numerous ventures (Shogun Restaurant, Dunbarton Properties, Advanced Storage), as well as numerous real estate ventures in Naples, FL (North Naples R&T Park, NN Golf Range, I-75 Corkscrew, and My Other Place Storage Condos). Al was an avid golfer, card player, and investor. Al was a former member of the Canton Jaycees (Jaycees Senate Award), Brookside Country Club, Glenmoor Country Club, The Strand Country Club, and served in the Army Reserve.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Catherine and Junith Johnson; and his wife, Janice in 2005. He is survived by his four children, Christine (Don) Nesbitt, Kimberly (Vance) Logan, Erik (Johanna) Johnson, and Sandra (Jeff) Snyder; six grandchildren, Aries, Zachary, Emerson, Isabella, Emily, and Jeffrey; and his first wife, Carol Cooper.
Al was a very generous person who would continuously give to others. Actions were his deeds.
