Alvin G. “Dick” Bealer, age 81, of Greentown, passed away Thursday evening, April 21, 2011 at Aultman Hospital after an extended illness. After serving in the Korean War, he worked for Bud Bowers for many years and later retired from Lake Township Road Dept..
He is preceded in death by his wife, Carol of 52 years; his parents Raymond and Ruby (Eisenhower) Bealer; a brother, Ray (Jr.) and a niece, Susan Nehlen. He is survived by his daughters, Debbi (Jack) Mucci and Tina Bealer; son, David Bealer; grandsons, Dustin (Jody) Mucci and Jon Mucci; great granddaughter, Lexi; sisters, Marge Rueschman, Doris (Mark) King, Donna (Mark) Rueschman; brothers, Bob (Mary) Bealer and Ronald (Evelyn) Bealer; sister-in-law, Janet Bealer and numerous nieces and nephews.
As per his wishes, cremation will take place. A memorial service and interment is planned for June 29, 2011 in Sunset Hills Memory Gardens at 1:00pm to celebrate the lives of Dick and Carol.
