Arvine “Junie” Haer Jr., age 88, passed away on Sunday, May 5, 2013 Born in Massillon, OH on June 12, 1924 to Arvine Sr. and Hannah (Herman) Haer. Arvine graduated from Jackson High School and later enlisted with U.S. Army to serve in World War II. He retired from Babcock & Wilcox in 1986. Arvine enjoyed boating, the outdoors, and was a 32nd Degree Mason.

He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Eleanor (Blanchard) Haer and his sister, Betty Hoover;. Arvine is survived by his children; Bonnie (Jack) Barton, John Haer, Ron (Ronna) Haer, Tim Haer, Jim (Sheila) Haer; grandchildren, Troy (Jen) Miller, Mike (Kristen) Barton, Brodie (Breonna) Haer, Brittany (Brandon) Fender, Lisa (Nate) Napier, Kelly Haer; and twelve great-grandchildren.

Friends may call Saturday, May 11, 2013 from 10-11 a.m. at Karlo-Libby Funeral Home. The service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Sunset Hills Burial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.

I am so sorry to hear about your Dad. I never realized before that our fathers worked together for years at B&W. My Dad is Vernon Reusser. When I saw your Dad's name I immediately remembered my Dad knew him and then saw that you were his daughter. What a small world. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

We are very sorry for your lose and it is a big lose to us. As his neighbors we will miss him very much. Nice people like Junie are a blessing to a neighborhood and he will be missed.
