Barbara "Oma" Latimer

She was born in Erie, PA on 9/16/1938. The daughter of the late Irvin and Wonetta Rockwell. She married her childhood sweetheart, Richard on 8/31/1957. She and Richard enjoyed 63 years together until Richard's death in 2020.

They lived in Ohio all of their married life where Richard was a band director, retiring from Wadsworth City Schools in 1988. Barbara loved being a wife and mother and devoted most of her life working with children as a Sunday School teacher, Scout leader, Preschool teacher, and Safety Town teacher. But her greatest love of her life was the time she spent with her two beloved grandsons, Connor and Matthew.

She is survived by her two children, Mark Latimer of Conneaut, Ohio, and Laura (Tom) Doyle of Canal Fulton; and her two grandsons, Connor (Katie) Doyle of Michigan, and Matthew Doyle of Canal Fulton.
