

She was born in Alliance, Ohio on March 7, 1946 to the late John and Esther (Smith) Beitler. Bobbi received her Bachelor’s degree from Kent State University in 1968 where she was active in Alpha Pi Sorority and the KSU Choral Group. She received her Master’s degree from Mount St. Joseph College. Bobbi taught 1st and 2nd grade in Monterey, CA and taught Kindergarten and 3rd grade at Hartville Elementary and Uniontown Elementary Schools. She later worked at Rodman Public Library where she enjoyed working with the kids and helping them with their homework. She was a member of The Chapel in Marlboro and enjoyed socializing with her retired teacher friends.
Bobbi is survived by her daughters, Kirstin Poling (Al Oudekerk) of North Canton and Erika (Sam) Ozenghar of Canton; grandchildren, Garrett, Brayden, Landon, Evan and Ella; sisters, Patricia (Larry) Wright and Midge (Joe) Berger; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Monday in the Karlo-Libby Funeral Home with Pastor Joel Cochran officiating. Interment in Forest Hill Cemetery. Friends may call Sunday from 1-4pm at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Stark County District Library, 715 Market Ave N, Canton, OH 44702. Bobbi gave the Gift of Sight through eye donation.
The family extends a special thank you to the many past co-workers and family who assisted Bobbi with her medical care and appointments and for taking her out to dinner and the movies. We would also like to express extreme gratitude to all the staff at Mercy Medical Center, Windsor Medical Center, and Manor Care who cared for and loved her.
