Scott was born in Canton on July 27, 1965, to the late Joel and Esther (Foresha) Crislip. When he was 18, Scott started his business, B&S Auto Salvage, which he ran until 2006. He was married to Mary (Brown) Crislip, who passed away in November of 2017. When he was young, Scott enjoyed riding bicycles and building model cars. He loved music and had learned how to play the drums. In his later years, he enjoyed spending his free time with his family and friends.
Scott is survived by his sons, Joey (Jackie) and Stewart Crislip, three grandchildren: Joey Jr., Jaylin, and Cayden; two siblings, Steve (Janine) Crislip and Dawn (Paul) Jarvis; and his nieces, Chrissy Crislip and Frances Jarvis.
Along with his parents and wife, Scott is preceded in death by his sister, Linda.
Calling hours for Scott will be held at Karlo-Libby Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 23, 2026, from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm. Funeral services will begin at the funeral home on Wednesday at 1:00 pm with interment to follow at Sunset Hills Memory Gardens.
