

Clifford N. Patterson, age 87, died of a broken heart on August 31, 2015, after the passing of his wife, Edna two months prior. He was born July 7, 1928 in Gilmer County, West Virginia, to the late William and Daisy Patterson.
He retired from Matlack, Inc. with 30 years safe driving. Clifford held membership in Clinton Lodge #47 F.&A.M.; Member of Scottish Rite, Valley of Canton, Delta Chapter #539 O.E.S., McKinley Eagles #2370, and Teamster Retiree Club Local 92.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Edna, whom he married March 3, 1956 in Angola, Indiana; five sisters, Marie Martin, Lena Neal, Leona Stewart, Lucille Jones, and Starling Perkins; and three brothers, Arthur, Calvin, and Hugh Patterson. He is survived by his two sons, Lanny (Mary) Angus, and Floyd “Skip” (Loretta) Angus; four grandsons, Lanny “Chip” (Justina) Angus, Brandon (Donna) Angus, Heath Angus, Aaron (Tammy) Angus; one granddaughter, Amber Angus; six great-granddaughters, Gianna, Christina, Sophia, Allison, Aurora “Rory”, and Kara; two great-grandsons, Nathan and Ryan; one sister, Pat Pigott.
Friends and family may call from 6-8pm on Friday in the Karlo-Libby funeral Home. The funeral service will be Saturday, September 5, 2015 at 11:00am at the funeral home. Burial will be in Sunset Hills Burial Park. The family would like to thank St. Joseph’s Care Center.
