I too am shocked to hear of curts passing.He was a good hearted and fair man.He always made u smile!My condolences to all of those who knew him,and to the family so sorry for your loss.

I was so sorry to hear of Curt's passing. He was so young with so much more life to live...I knew Curt from Jackson High School. My thoughts and prayers go out to family and friends....

My brother, Tom, worked with Curt @ SSH back in the 70s and just loved him! Then I had the honor to work with Curt briefly in 2009. He was a gentleman and a dedicated employee and it is my loss that I never got to know him better. To Curt's family and to his many friends/co-workers @ SSH, I am so deeply sorry for your great loss.

I wish to express my deepest Sympathies to the family. I had worked with Curt at Sunset Hills Cemetery about 14yrs ago and always saw him rushing in and out of the office - making sure things were done right.  Curt always helped make the sales staff's job a bit easer, he had every thing marked just right.  He will be greatly missed. My God comfort you at this time, with the loss in your lives.

My wife and I worked at Sunset Hills, several years ago, we only knew Curt through work. Being in sales, he made our job much easier. The cemetery always looked beautiful, especially Memorial Day weekend. If there is a special place in Heaven for those who took care of cemeteries while on this earth, Curt should have place right at the top, with the best of them.

I used to work with Curt years ago. He was a great guy. My sincere condolences to his family.

Family and friends of Curt,  I met Curt while starting my career in the death care industry in 2001.  I remember driving by the cemetery on serval occassions before being employed at Sunset Hills and thinking the cemetery was beautiful.  It reminded me of a golf course. The spring of 2002 I worked my first Memorial weekend.  The families and friends of the people buried in Sunset Hills were visiting graves, placing decorations, picnicing saying hello to other people visiting their loved ones at the cemetery. As I looked around it was obvious that they were able to enjoy their visits due to the hard work and care the grounds crew had put in. One crew memeber always said "gotta keep mowin the grass is always growin". Curt lead those grounds crews.  He showed his worth through his work. Thanks for showing me and others what it suppose to be...

On the personal side, the good times Eric, Dan, you and I had were unforgettable...RIP

A few years ago I had the honor and pleasure of working with Curt when I was the GM there. He was a great employee and had a unique sense of humor which we shared almost on a daily basis. Like so many others, I'm still trying to process this loss.  How does one absorb the death of a best friend?  Curt's sense of humor was as large as he lived life.  I have no doubt that he'll get an eagle on the front nine of heaven's golf course. Rest in peace, my friend.

Curt aka Coch and Digger! I love you like a brother, you always had a smile on your face! You always reminded me of what I have and had and always made me smile! You always told me how it was just a not so good time in my life but I would get thru it! Well this is one of these not so good times and I will get thru it, but never without thinking of how much you touched my life in such a short few years. I know I will survive and get thru it, but it doesnt seem fair! I know you would want me to live and not cry and grieve, but that I cant promise that! I am crying and I am grieving, and I am sad you aren't here on earth. I do know that you are where you belong with GOD and others that i care about, but yet I am still sad you aren't here! I will try to be the person you saw in me when i wasnt feeling so positive, and I will always remember you, and try to be half the person you are and were and will always be!! Love You Digger!

I worked with Curt at Sunset Hills and he always liked to brag about the Browns, we had a rivalry because I was a Steelers fan. He was fun to work with. Great guy, I will miss him.
