Daniel was a longtime member of the Crystal Park United Methodist Church, Canton. He retired from the Timken Company after 30 years of service. Daniel was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles where he played music with his friends on Friday nights. He was involved in the Boy Scouts for many years.
Daniel is survived by his daughter, Wendy D'Angelo; sons, Allen (Lisa) Gier, and Ray (Jennifer) Gier; grandchildren, Holden, Tony, Jenna, Kellan, Sean, Stefan, and Keenan; 3 great-grandchildren.
A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 pm Thursday, October 29, 2026 at Karlo-Libby Funeral Home, 5000 Everhard Road NW, Canton, OH 44718. Friends and family may call one hour before the services from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm. Interment will be at Sunset Hills Memory Gardens.
