Debbie was born in Hattiesburg, Mississippi on February 19, 1950, to the late Oscar and Ruby Smith. She lived in Tyler, Texas for almost 40 years before she moved to Ohio in 2007. She loved dogs and she enjoyed spending time fishing and crafting wreaths and flower arrangements.
Debbie is survived by her twin brother, Sammie Smith, and his wife Valorie, and many nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents, she is preceded in death three brothers: Oscar Smith, Jr., Wayne Smith, and Billy Sith; and two sisters: Dimple Drew and Shirley (Marvin) Price-Barger.
Calling hours for Debbie will be held at Karlo-Libby Funeral Home on Thursday, August 28, 2025, from 12:00-1:00 pm. A graveside service will follow on Thursday at 1:30 pm at Sunset Hills Memory Gardens in North Canton.
Debbie’s friends at Glenwood were a blessing to her in the short time she was living there.
