Delpha Jean Lytton, age 88 of North Canton, died Sunday evening, July 21, 2013 at Emeritus of Canton. She was born February 5, 1925 in Millersburg, Ohio to the late John and Edith (Patterson) Nethero.
Jean was a school teacher for many years and a later had a career in landscape design. She was a member of the Teachers’ Association and Church of the Lakes United Methodist.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Charles W. Lytton in 2002. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Kimberlee and John Hockensmith and son, Thomas Lytton, all of North Canton; and grandchildren, Heidi and Benjamin.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Thursday in the Karlo-Libby Funeral Home. Interment will be in Sunset Hills Burial Park. Friends may call from 5-7pm on Wednesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army Soup Kitchen.
